Dr. Galin Jones is the Lynn Y. S. Lin Endowed Professor of Statistics and Vice Provost for AI at the University of Minnesota. He is an Elected Fellow of both the American Statistical Association and the Institute for Mathematical Statistics. He previously served as the Editor of the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics. As Vice Provost, Dr. Jones leads the AI Hub, the University of Minnesota's central effort in AI innovation, uniting research and education with industry partners, and statewide outreach to turn discovery into impact.
